My experience with Kelsey and her team at Beauty & Bridal Philly was everything I could have hoped for as an anxious bride who doesn't know the first thing about hair styling and makeup. I met Kelsey over the phone to see if she was the right fit and she immediately met me with confidence and put any of my worries (covering up acne, keeping a curl in my hair which does not like that, etc.) at ease. As we got closer to the wedding, my number of services kept changing as bridesmaids and family decided whether or not they wanted their hair & makeup done as well and Kelsey was able to accommodate every change I threw her way with grace and ease. She was incredibly easy to work with. About a month before the wedding, I met her for a trial and she executed my poorly explained vision PERFECTLY. I am not good at describing what I want in terms of hair & makeup but she still knew exactly what to do to make me look and feel gorgeous. (I forced my fiance to take me to dinner afterwards because the glam could not be wasted!) My favorite thing though, was her ability to chat and make me feel comfortable in the moment. I was so worried I wouldn't get along with my makeup artist, but Kelsey has a glowing personality and was so easy to talk to during the service. That more than anything convinced me not to worry on the big day. And on the wedding day, she delivered. I had poor weather, very misty & wet, and still forced everyone outside for the ceremony. My dress may have gotten muddy but my expertly done hair & makeup held strong and lasted the entire night. I cannot thank and recommend Kelsey & her team at Beauty & Bridal Philly enough - they helped make the wedding morning super fun and easy and helped all my girls look incredible!

Kelsey did the makeup for our May 2024 wedding! She was prompt with her timing, excellent at accommodating requests, and did amazing work. Kelsey was also able to accommodate all different skin types and tones. She swooped in and saved our day when the bride’s hair had to be redone even though we did not book her for hair. “I was so nervous about hair and makeup, having a lifetime of issues with my skin and wanting to feel confident and beautiful on my wedding day without feeling like my makeup crossed a line and made me look like a different person. Despite the fact that I have no idea what I'm talking about with hair and makeup, Kelsey NAILED exactly what I was looking for and I ended up with a look that made me want to cry (which, they reminded me, would be ok because everything was waterproof). It was beautiful, but soft and natural. I've never felt so good. Kelsey and I also reworked my hair day-of, and she came up with a new style that blew me away and made me feel so pretty. Beyond being ridiculously good at what she does, she was also so much fun to hang out with. I felt like I had another friend chilling with us in the bridal suite. With everything going on that day, it was so so so important to have someone who brought good vibes with her and who could fit in with all of my friends so easily. There are so many options choosing hair/makeup for your wedding that it's overwhelming, but I promise that this is the right one.”

“I am so happy I found Kelsey for my wedding day! Because I had already chosen a make-up artist, I hired her to do hair for me and my bridal party. I wasn't the most decisive bride. When I booked multiple trials for my hair to figure out what I really wanted, she was so patient with me. She really helped me figure out the best hairstyle for my wedding day! On the actual wedding day, Kelsey was prompt and accommodating. My bridesmaids and family members ended up LOVING their hair and I think we ended up finished ahead of schedule! In addition, we had pretty awful weather on our wedding day, but Kelsey's cheery and calming personality helped make getting ready go by smoothly.
